1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and FitConnect. They apply whenever you use the FitConnect app, the FitConnect Pro app or the FitConnect dashboard. By creating an account or continuing to use FitConnect after an update, you agree to them.

When we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app first and ask you to accept the new version before you continue.

2. What FitConnect is

FitConnect connects people with independent coaches. Coaches use FitConnect to publish their services, manage bookings and subscriptions, assign training and nutrition plans, and talk to their clients.

FitConnect is not a coach. The coaching, advice and plans you receive come from the coach you choose, not from FitConnect. Coaches are independent businesses and are responsible for their own services.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your settings. What deletion does is explained in our Privacy policy.

4. Health and safety

Training and nutrition carry real risk. Speak to a doctor before starting a new programme, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury or are pregnant. Stop and seek help if something feels wrong.

Nothing on FitConnect is medical advice.

5. Bookings, subscriptions and payments

• Prices, sessions and plans are set by each coach.
• Payments are currently arranged between you and your coach and recorded in FitConnect by the coach. FitConnect does not hold your money.
• Cancellation and refund terms are the coach's. Check them before you book or subscribe.

6. For coaches

If you use FitConnect Pro or the dashboard as a coach or as a member of a coach's team, you also agree that:

• you hold any qualifications and insurance your services require where you work;
• the services, prices and content you publish are accurate and yours to publish;
• you use your clients' information only to coach them, and never share it outside FitConnect without their permission;
• campaigns and messages you send respect your clients' choices and the limits the platform sets.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use FitConnect to harass anyone, to post anything unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit, to impersonate someone, to send spam, or to interfere with the service. Anyone can report content or block an account from inside the apps.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload: photos, videos, messages, programmes and reviews. You give FitConnect permission to store and display it so the service can work, for as long as it is on FitConnect.

9. Liability

We work hard to keep FitConnect available and correct, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, FitConnect is not responsible for a coach's services, for injuries from training, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.
